Dr. Gregory Pennington

Greg Pennington, Ph.D. is the Managing Partner for Pennpoint Consulting Group, LLC. His group focuses on leadership and organization effectiveness by providing executive coaching, high potential leadership development programs, team effectiveness workshops, and diversity and inclusion interventions. His experience includes internal roles as VP, Senior Leadership Development and Planning, Johnson Controls, Practice Leader, Hay Group, Senior Consultant RHR International, Director of Consulting Services J. Howard & Associates, and Human Resources Manager for a savings and loan institution.

Dr. Pennington’s current clients include coaching, consulting and leadership development in a global financial organization, hospital administration team, professional services firm, an academic leadership development organization, higher education senior leadership teams, and a national school-based health initiative organization.

Greg holds a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and a B.A cum laude in Psychology and Social Relations, Harvard University. He is a Fellow and active member of the American Psychological Association, having served as Past-President for Division 13 Society of Consulting Psychology on two occasions. He is a member of Society of Psychologists in Leadership and the Founder of Consulting Psychologists of Color. His passion pursuits include his family, drawing and painting, dancing and Judo.
