Dr. Frederick PetersonDr. Peterson is a clinical psychologist, sexual health specialist, and educator regarding White privilege. He was the last Clinical Fellow trained by the pioneer researcher William Masters of the Masters and Johnson Institute (as describe in the television series Masters of Sex). He has co-written or co-edited five books on sex health and gender, including The Gender Revolution and New Sexual Health (2020) and Sex & Gender: Current Clinical Concepts and Practices (2023) which has a 30 CEU Home Study Course available. The current book project, with Dr. Judith Skillings, is tentatively entitled: "White Folks Talking to White Folks about Privilege: New Conversations on Race and Intersectionality. " Dr. Peterson currently holds clinical faculty appointments at the Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine, Wright State University and the Department of Specialty Medicine at the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine of Ohio University. He is interested in babies, bees, blues and supporting democracy in the small artist community of Yellow Springs, Ohio which is 1.9 square miles surrounded by reality. |
